Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form an agreement between you and Green Energy Supplies ("GES," "we," "us"). They cover your access to and use of greenenergysupplies.ca, the quote builder, the savings and EV calculators, the GES Connect homeowner portal, and any related online tools (together, the "Site").

By using the Site you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the Site.

Any equipment purchase, installation work, financing application, or 25-year managed service plan you arrange with GES is governed by a separate, signed agreement specific to that project. Nothing on the Site — including the quote builder, calculators, and recommended product pages — is a binding offer to sell or install on those terms.

You may use the Site if you are:

• The age of majority in your province (18 in Ontario), and
• Acting on your own behalf, or on behalf of an organization you have authority to bind.

If you create a GES Connect account, you're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us right away if you suspect your account has been accessed without your permission.

The quote builder, savings calculator, and EV calculator return estimates based on assumptions and inputs you provide. They are intended as planning tools, not as guaranteed proposals. Production, savings, payback, and rebate amounts depend on factors only confirmed during a site assessment — including utility rates, roof orientation, shading, building envelope, and your eligibility for specific programs.

A final, binding proposal is issued only after a GES engineer has reviewed your site and is documented in a signed installation agreement.

When you submit a quote request, contact form, photo, utility bill, or other information to GES, you confirm that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You have the right to share it (e.g. it's your property, your bill).
• It doesn't contain anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful to others.

You retain ownership of what you submit. You grant GES a limited license to use the information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy — namely, designing your project, filing rebates and permits, and running your managed service plan.

The Site — including text, design, illustrations, photographs, code, and the GES wordmark — is owned by GES or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark law. Manufacturer logos and product names are the property of their respective owners and appear on the Site to identify equipment GES installs.

You're welcome to view, share, and link to pages on the Site. You may not copy, republish, or build derivative products from Site content without our written permission.

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to send unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, the GES Connect portal, or any connected systems;
• Probe, scan, scrape, or test the vulnerability of the Site;
• Interfere with service to other users (e.g. denial-of-service, spam);
• Reverse-engineer or copy the Site's software or design system;
• Use automated systems, bots, or AI agents to submit forms or place fake quote requests.

The Site may link to third-party pages — utility websites, financing partners, manufacturer pages, government rebate programs. GES doesn't control those sites and isn't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to keep things accurate and up to date, we don't warrant that the Site, the calculators, the product data, or the rebate information will be error-free, complete, or current. Rebate programs and utility rates change frequently; always confirm key numbers with us or the issuing program before relying on them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GES disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GES is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the Site — including lost profits, lost savings, lost data, or business interruption — even if we've been advised of the possibility.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Site is limited to CAD $100. This limitation does not apply to liability that can't be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct), and does not affect your rights under our signed installation or managed-service agreements, which contain their own warranty and liability terms.

You agree to indemnify and hold GES harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or to GES Connect — with or without notice — if we believe you've breached these Terms or are using the Site in a way that threatens its security or other users. You may stop using the Site at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, and you and GES consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after we post a change means you accept the updated Terms.
